New Delhi, Jan. 30 -- Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Thursday praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi's ten years in power as a turning point in India's history, asserting that it marks the end of one era and the beginning of another.

Speaking at the launch of the book Indian Renaissance: The Modi Decade, Shah stated that the transformative changes brought by Modi's leadership would be recognized even by his harshest critics.

Shah further asserted that when India's history is written, Modi's decade of governance will be inscribed in golden letters. The statement comes as the Modi government highlights its achievements over the past ten years, ahead of the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
