Chennai, March 3 -- BJP leader Tamilisai Soundararajan on Sunday criticized the Tamil Nadu government, alleging poor governance and deteriorating law and order in the state.
She claimed that crimes, including sexual offenses and POCSO cases, were on the rise while the government was attempting to divert public attention.
"In today's situation in Tamil Nadu, the worst governance is happening. Law and order are not fine, sexual crimes are increasing, and POCSO cases are rising. To hide these issues, an all-party meeting has been convened on a subject (delimitation) that is not even relevant. This is just an attempt to mislead the people of Tamil Nadu. We strongly condemn this," Soundararajan said.
