Port of Spain, July 3 -- Spiritual leader Swami Brahma Swarupananda on Thursday said Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visit to Trinidad and Tobago will significantly contribute to the global promotion of Indian culture, with a focus on education, Yoga, and Indian languages.

His remarks came as PM Modi departed for the Caribbean nation for the second leg of his five-nation tour, following a visit to Ghana.

Speaking to ANI, Swami Swarupananda said, "PM Modi's visit will play a significant role in promoting education and science based on the Indian Culture...PM Modi's visit will promote Yoga and meditation in Trinidad and Tobago. It will promote Hindi and Sanskrit also."
