New Delhi, March 23 -- Aam Aadmi Party leader Sanjay Singh on Sunday expressed concerns about the recent controversy surrounding Justice Yashwant Varma, suggesting that the alleged discovery of cash at his residence has damaged the credibility of the Indian judiciary.
Singh questioned whether the judiciary would take strong action to restore its reputation.
In a post on X, Singh said, "It is not bundles of notes that are burning at the house of Delhi High Court Judge Yashwant Verma, but the credibility of the Indian judiciary. There are also rumours that a major portion of these bundles of notes belongs to a retired gentleman. Will the judiciary try to remove the stain on itself by taking strict action in this matter?"
