New Delhi, July 24 -- Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Nityanand Rai hit out at Bihar opposition leader Tejashwi Yadav for his remark about "boycotting Bihar elections with allies."

Responding to the remark, he said, "By threatening electoral boycott, Tejashwi Yadav is looking for an excuse for their possible defeat in the Bihar assembly elections."

MoS Home Nityanand Rai further said that, "Tejashwi Yadav knows very well that the people of Bihar will defeat him badly in the elections, due to this fear sometimes he is blaming the Election Commission and sometimes threatening to boycott the elections."
