Solan, June 2 -- Union Minister and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) President JP Nadda on Monday chaired a key core group meeting of the party in Himachal Pradesh's Solan, and instructed the state unit to start preparing for the upcoming Panchayat elections.

During his visit, Nadda also participated in a Tiranga Yatra, where he congratulated Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the armed forces for Operation Sindoor.

In his address during the core group meeting, Nadda instructed the state BJP to launch a series of outreach programmes over the next two and a half months from June 5 to August 15 coinciding with the 11th anniversary of the Modi government.
