Begusarai, Feb. 23 -- Union Textiles Minister Giriraj Singh has said that the Narendra Modi government has taken major development initiatives in Bihar and expressed optimism that the state will return "double engine" government in assembly polls later this year.

"There is a double-engine government here. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is coming to Bhagalpur on February 24. Whatever development is visible in Bihar today is all because of PM Modi. There will be a double-engine government in the future, too. Bihar will develop," Giriraj Singh told media persons.
