New Delhi, Aug. 4 -- Congress MP KC Venugopal mourned the demise of former Jharkhand CM and founding patron of Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM), Shibu Soren, calling him the 'tallest leader' who fought for tribal rights in the country.

While talking to ANI, Congress MP KC Venugopal said, "My sincere condolences on Shibu Soren ji's sad demise. He was one of the tallest leaders who fought for the tribal rights in the country. His life was dedicated to the upliftment of the poor..."

Earlier, Shibu Soren passed away on Monday after a prolonged illness at the age of 81 in New Delhi.
