New Delhi, Feb. 6 -- Congress MP Manickam Tagore on Thursday moved an adjournment notice in the Lok Sabha to discuss the deportations of over 100 Indian nationals by the United States government.

In his notice, Tagore said that the recent deportation of the Indian nationals who were identified as illegal immigrants has shocked the nation.

"This process not only reflects an utter disregard for human rights but also raises serious diplomatic concerns. These actions are being carried out without significant intervention from the Indian government, which has remained largely silent on the matter," he said.
