New Delhi, June 23 -- CPI (M) General Secretary MA Baby on Monday stated that the Indian government's response to the Iran-Israel conflict was inadequate, further stating that the Prime Minister and the government should demand immediate cessation of attack and assault on Iran.

"The response that has come out of the Indian government is inadequate... In unequivocal terms, PM Modi and the government of India should condemn it, and they should demand the immediate cessation of attack and assault on Iran..." the CPI (M) Secretary told ANI.
