Patna, Sept. 21 -- Union Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi on Sunday condemned alleged abusive remarks made against Prime Minister Narendra Modi's late mother at a rally in Bihar, and accused opposition leaders of resorting to crude tactics to grab headlines.
In an interview with reporters, Manjhi stated that when someone is "distressed", they turn to such "dirty" words and acts, which are extremely "condemnable".
"The person who becomes distressed resorts to dirty words and dirty acts in any way. They are resorting to such things, which are extremely condemnable and insulting, to grab headlines," Manjhi said.
He further said that the voters of Bihar should watch these actions very closely and give a befitting reply in the elections.
