Bahraich, Sept. 27 -- Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Saturday conducted an aerial survey of wolf-affected areas in Bahraich district and met with victims of recent wolf attacks.
The state government has classified human-wildlife conflict as a disaster, ensuring financial assistance of up to Rs 5 lakh for families of deceased victims and support for the injured.
To address the ongoing terror caused by wolf attacks over the past 15-20 days, 21 task forces and six Forest Department teams led by senior officials have been deployed to enhance safety and control the situation.
