Bhopal, Sept. 21 -- Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan on Sunday hailed the 'One Nation, One Election', calling the bill in the "interest of the nation".

Speaking to reporters, Chouhan said that all districts, panchayats, block panchayats, and municipalities have passed resolutions in support of the proposal.

"All of them, including the district panchayat, block panchayat, municipality, and panchayats of our district, have jointly passed separate resolutions that One Nation, One Election is in the interest of the country. Prime Minister Modi's resolve must be fulfilled," Chouhan told reporters.
