Shimla, July 15 -- Himachal Pradesh Minister Jagat Singh Negi said that the landslides and flash floods over the past few days have severely disrupted normal life across the state.

Negi said efforts are underway to restore roads, electricity, and water supply, particularly along the severely affected Chandigarh-Manali highway.

He added that 139 electricity DTRs have been affected and around 745 drinking water schemes disrupted. Restoration efforts are underway, and compensation assessments are ongoing for houses that have been washed away.
