Bhubaneshwar, Sept. 3 -- Odisha Minister Suresh Pujari has condemned the derogatory remarks made against Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his late mother at a Mahagathbandhan event, stating that no one has the right to insult a mother.
Speaking to ANI on Tuesday, Pujari emphasised that insulting a mother is unacceptable in Indian society, drawing parallels from Hindu epics like Ramayana and Mahabharata.
He also criticised Congress and RJD over their "lack of values and education," following the event.
The Odisha Minister said, "Whether it is the mother of the Prime Minister or anyone else's, we believe in Sanatan Dharma and in our society, any mother is respected as one's own mother. No one has the right to insult a mother."
