New Delhi, Dec. 12 -- After the Central Election Committee (CEC) meeting of the Congress concluded on Thursday, party leader TS Singhdeo emphasized that the party's goal isn't to defeat the ruling party, but rather to perform well and regain the trust of Delhi's voters.
"We do not have the intention of defeating the ruling party. Congress would want to perform well and the people of Delhi deliberate and give an opportunity to Congress once again. Sheila Dikshit was the CM for 15 years, people of Delhi still remember her tenure. Congress had a deep presence in Delhi, and the party will all make efforts to go back to that situation and try to earn people's confidence," Singhdeo told ANI.
