Chennai, Feb. 9 -- Tamil Nadu BJP Spokesperson ANS Prasad has said that by defeating the Aam Aadmi Party in the Assembly election, the people of Delhi had broken free from the "shackles of misgovernance."

"The people of Delhi have broken free from the shackles of misgovernance, rejecting the false and anarchic rule reminiscent of Muhammad bin Tughlaq, which was being emulated by Arvind Kejriwal's administration," Prasad said in a statement.

"Instead, they've opted for a government that promises good governance, inspired by the progress achieved in states with the double-engine government," he added.
