Mumbai, May 5 -- Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) leader Sunil Tatkare on Monday spoke about the 'Gauravshali Maharashtra Mahotsav 2025' and said that there had been many struggles beging the establishment of the state.

He paid tribute at the Gateway of India with water he carried from across the country.

Speaking to the mediapersons, NCP MP Sunil Tatkare said, "Maharashtra was established in 1960 by Pandit Jawahar Lal Nehru... there were a lot of struggles behind the formation of Maharashtra...we have paid tribute at the Gateway of India with water we carried from across the country..."
