Bhubaneswar, July 20 -- Biju Janata Dal (BJD) MP Amar Patnaik condemned the brutal attack on a 15-year-old girl in Odisha's Puri district, stating that the law and order situation in the state has gone for a toss. The girl was reportedly tied to a tree and set ablaze by miscreants in broad daylight at Balanga in Puri.

She has been admitted to AIIMS Bhubaneswar with severe burn injuries.

Speaking to ANI on Saturday, BJD Patnaik said, "Such unfortunate incidents are taking place one after the other.
