Jammu, April 9 -- Jammu and Kashmir National Conference (JKNC) party MLA Tanvir Sadiq on Wednesday emphasised the importance of holding those involved in terrorism accountable for their actions over the extradition of 26/11 mastermind Tahawwur Rana.

Speaking to ANI, Sadiq said, "If anyone in the country or the world is involved in any kind of terrorism and hurts innocent people, it is our duty to make the accused go through a trial and make him accountable for his actions."

On April 7, the United States Supreme Court rejected the plea of the accused, seeking a stay in his extradition to India.

Rana filed an emergency application with Chief Justice Roberts on March 20, 2025, seeking a stay on his extradition.
