Nagpur, July 30 -- Divya Deshmukh, winner of the 2025 FIDE Women's World Cup, expressed her happiness for the people gathered to welcome her at the Nagpur Airport and gave credit for her victory to her first coach, Rahul Joshi, her Family and sister.
She returned home on Wednesday and was given a rousing welcome by her family and supporters, who gathered at the Nagpur Airport to receive her.
Divya, a 19-year-old rising sensation in the world of chess, became the first Indian woman to clinch the Chess World Cup after overwhelming Koneru on Monday evening in the final via tiebreaks.
