Washington DC, Feb. 21 -- Actress Leighton Meester expressed her amazement after being recognised by young fans for her iconic role of 'Blair Waldorf' in the superhit series 'Gossip Girl', reported The Hollywood Reporter.

Leighton revealed that she was recognised by 'Gossip Girl' fans who weren't even alive when the show initially aired years ago. While promoting her new series Good Cop/Bad Cop, Access Hollywood asked Meester what it's like seeing younger generations fall in love with the hit show, which aired for six seasons from 2007 to 2012.
