Mehsana, June 13 -- Sanket Goswami was among the 241 passengers who were killed in the deadly crash of the Air India flight 171 that took place near Ahmedabad's Sardar Vallabhai Patel International Airport.

Goswami was headed to London for his studies. A family member stated that the young student leaves behind his younger sister and was the only son of his father.

"My nephew lost his only son, Sanket Goswami. He was going to London to study. He had worked very hard to get to study in London and was very excited...We got the message of the crash the moment we reached our home..." the family member said, speaking to the media.
