Hyderabad, April 4 -- Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) MLC K Kavitha thanked the Supreme Court for halting felling of trees in 400 acres land at Kancha Gachibowli area in Hyderabad.

"Grateful to the Hon'ble Supreme Court for halting the reckless destruction of HCU's green cover. Kudos to the relentless spirit of students, faculty, media and activists who stood firm in the fight for justice," Kavitha said in a post on X.

"This is a victory for democracy and a triumph of the people's voice. We remain hopeful that fairness will ultimately prevail in protecting the environment," she added.
