Guwahati, April 3 -- Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Thursday welcomed the passage of the Waqf Amendment Bill 2025 in the Lok Sabha, calling it a bold and unapologetic reclaiming of India's civilisational roots.
