Banjarbaru, July 18 -- The South Kalimantan Provincial Forestry Service and the FOLU Net Sink 2030 implementing partner team have initiated efforts to rehabilitate forests and land in three villages in the Meratus Mountain area of Hulu Sungai Tengah district.
The South Kalimantan Forestry Service said in Banjarbaru, Friday, that as an initial step, along with the FOLU team, it conducted outreach to the concerned communities in Tapuk, Limpasu, and Tanah Habang villages from July 15-17, 2025.
The outreach was conducted in collaboration with Norway, which has pledged support for Indonesia's FOLU Net Sink 2030 initiative.
