Jakarta, Dec. 13 -- President Prabowo Subianto expressed empathy and reiterated the Indonesian government's commitment to accelerate post-flood recovery while visiting flood-affected residents in Takengon, Aceh Tengah district, Aceh, on Friday.

"I came here today to meet, observe the situation, and hear directly from the district head, deputy district head, and community leaders about how we can accelerate the recovery efforts," Prabowo said, as released by the Presidential Media Team.
