Jakarta, Feb. 22 -- Tourism and Creative Economy Minister Sandiaga Salahuddin Uno extended his support for the plan to hold the Indonesian Street Food Festival on March 16-17, 2024, at Queen Victoria Market, Melbourne, Australia.

In a written statement received from his office in Jakarta on Wednesday (February 21), he noted that the culinary festival is in line with the government's determination to introduce Indonesian cuisine to the world.

"This event aligns with the Indonesia Spice Up the World Program devised by President Joko Widodo to promote Indonesian food and spices. The program is expected to help Indonesian restaurants promote their products abroad," he pointed out.
