Jakarta, Jan. 10 -- The Indonesian government has vowed to never leave the Palestinian people behind, given its Constitutional responsibility to maintain world peace, according to Foreign Affairs Minister Sugiono.
"Indonesia remains committed to support the plight of the Palestinian people, to deliver humanitarian aid and to support UNRWA," he said while delivering his annual press statement here on Friday.
In his statement, the minister highlighted Israel's ongoing atrocities in Palestine, which have claimed thousands of Palestinians' lives and displaced millions.
"These numbers are not merely statistics because every number represents a human life," he emphasized.
