Jakarta, Nov. 5 -- Deputy Minister of Human Rights Mugiyanto Sipin reaffirmed Indonesia's commitment to advancing human rights in the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) region while speaking at the 6th ASEAN Human Rights Dialogue here on Monday.
"Our vision is to create a region where everyone can live in freedom, where their voices are heard, and where every individual is empowered to be able to reach their full potential," he said, according to an official statement released by his ministry on Tuesday.
He informed that the Indonesian government led by President Prabowo Subianto and Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka is firmly dedicated to advancing human rights development.
