Jakarta, Dec. 2 -- Indonesia's Directorate General of Immigration has deported a 34-year-old Swedish national, identified as the initials of GR, who is suspected of committing serious violent crimes in his home country.

Acting Director General of Immigration Yuldi Yusman said in a statement received here on Tuesday that his side acted on an official request from Swedish police authorities.

"GR is suspected of involvement in serious violent crimes in Sweden over the past year and was tracked in Indonesia since August 2025, although he was not yet listed on Interpol's red notice," Yusman said.
