Jakarta, June 22 -- Indonesian Foreign Minister Sugiono condemned Israel's expansion of its aggression against Iran amid its attacks on the Gaza Strip, calling it a major violation of international law.

"The recent attacks on Iran demonstrate Israel's increasing disregard for peace and stability," Sugiono stated at the 51st session of the OIC Council of Foreign Ministers in Istanbul on Saturday (June 21).

In his statement, Sugiono emphasized that Israel's aggression against Iran further threatens the dignity of international law and undermines all efforts to achieve peace and stability in the Middle East.
