Jakarta, July 22 -- Indonesia's Defense Minister Sjafrie Sjamsoeddin and the Chief of Defense Force of the Singapore Armed Forces, Vice Admiral Aaron Beng, agreed to strengthen bilateral defense cooperation during a meeting in Jakarta on Tuesday.
Brig. Gen. Frega Ferdinand Wenas Inkiriwang, head of the Defense Information Bureau at the Ministry of Defense, said the collaboration aims to enhance military capabilities and deepen defense relations between the two countries.
"The meeting discussed various forms of cooperation, including joint military exercises on land, at sea, and in the air," Inkiriwang said.
He added that Indonesia is also looking to explore cyber defense collaboration with Singapore.
