Jakarta, June 17 -- Indonesia and China have opened discussions to expand cooperation in the higher education sector, with a focus on linking vocational education to industry, advancing digital technology education, and building lecturer capacity.
During a meeting with Chinese Ambassador to Indonesia Wang Lutong in Jakarta on Monday, Indonesia's Deputy Minister of Higher Education, Science, and Technology, Stella Christie, emphasized the need for Indonesia to learn from China's successful integration of vocational education with industry.
