Jakarta, May 19 -- Indonesia and Chile are providing mutual support for each other's accession to regional trade agreements, according to Indonesia's Trade Minister Budi Santoso.
In a statement issued on Monday, he explained that Indonesia supports Chile's bid to join the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP), while Chile backs Indonesia's accession to the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership (CPTPP).
"We hope that Indonesia and Chile's participation in regional trade cooperation will further improve both countries' economies and contribute to regional economic growth," he said.
