Jakarta, Feb. 10 -- The Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education is seeking to improve efficiency, security, and ease of access for people through the implementation of electronic diplomas planned to start in 2025.

"This digitalization is expected to make the issuance and distribution of graduation documents quicker and more accurate and to reduce risks of forgery," the ministry's Director of High School, Winner Jihad Akbar, stated during the dissemination on high school diplomas monitored online here on Monday.

Akbar stressed that this initiative aims to ensure that the administrative process adheres to established procedures so students obtain valid diplomas that meet the new standard.
