Jakarta, Nov. 5 -- Indonesia's President Prabowo Subianto emphasized Indonesia's commitment to serving as a bridge to world peace by promoting the strategic role of "humanitarian Islam."

"Indonesia is a reflection of Islamic principles that is friendly, peaceful, and soothing," Prabowo said in his speech, which was read by Religious Affairs Minister Nasaruddin Umar, at the International Conference on Humanitarian Islam in Depok, West Java, on Tuesday.
