SriLankan facilitates repatriation flights to bring back 304 from India, Australia
Sri Lanka, May 30 -- Two batches of Sri Lankans, who were stranded in Australia and India owing to the outbreak of Covid-19 pandemic, have been brought back to the island this morning (30).
The national carrier, SriLankan Airlines facilitated the two repatriation flights - UL 1042 and UL 605.
The first flight arrived at the Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) at around 4.45 am today, carrying 18 Sri Lankan tri-force members from Mumbai, India.
Meanwhile, the second flight, with 286 Sri Lankans aboard, returned from Melbourne, Australia at around 5.50 am in the morning.
All the returnees have been moved to quarantine centres.
