Tashkent, April 29 -- In the first three months of 2024, 58,200 people left Uzbekistan, with 25,700 men and 32,500 women among them. 40,400 of these individuals were from urban areas, while the remaining 17,800 were from rural areas.

During this period, 2,586 people emigrated from the country, consisting of 1,323 men and 1,263 women. The majority of these emigrants, accounting for 2,125 individuals or 82.2%, relocated to Kazakhstan. Additionally, 357 people moved to Russia, 22 to Kyrgyzstan, 20 to South Korea, 8 to Turkmenistan, and 54 to other countries.

Among those who emigrated for permanent residency abroad, 10% were below the working age, while 81.8% were of working age, and 8.2% were older than working age.
