Tashkent, Feb. 23 -- Earlier, we reported that the state program for the implementation of the "Uzbekistan-2030" strategy in 2024 was approved. In the program, a number of measures were defined within the framework of combating dust storms in the country and mitigating their negative consequences.

In particular, from March 1, 2024, when a dust storm occurs in the regions and it is found that dispersed particles in the air are higher than the specified norm, the population will be warned. They will be affected by cardiovascular and respiratory diseases, and the practice of constantly informing other citizens who are highly sensitive to air pollution about the necessary preventive measures is being established.
