Tashkent, April 22 -- Tashkent hosted an event on the launch of the "Improving Governance in Uzbekistan" initiative aimed at strengthening anti-corruption efforts in the country. The total cost of the project is over 7 million euros. This initiative is being implemented by the European Union, the EU Consortium led by GIZ, UNDP Uzbekistan and the Anti-Corruption Agency of Uzbekistan.

Funded by the European Union, the initiative will be implemented through two projects in close cooperation:

The projects, scheduled for the period from 2024 to 2026, will cover all 14 regions of Uzbekistan.
