Tashkent, April 18 -- The exhibition project titled "Uzbekistan: Avant-Garde in the Desert" has commenced in Italy. One section of the exhibition is located in Florence, and the other is in Venice. This exhibition is organized by the Fund for the Development of Culture and Art of Uzbekistan.

The exhibition aims to introduce an important yet lesser-known chapter of art history from the first half of the 20th century to the Italian and global audience. It is divided into two sections, being held across two different locations in Italy-Florence and Venice. The section titled "Light and Color" commenced in Florence. The exhibition will be open for visitors from April 16 to June 30.
