1. This case presents questions about the scope of our review of appeals under Illinois Supreme Court Rule 604(h) (eff. Dec. 7, 2023) from pretrial release orders under article 110 of the Code of Criminal Procedure of 1963 (Code) (725 ILCS 5/art. 110 (West 2022)), as amended by Public Acts 101-652 and 102-1104 (eff.
