CHARLOTTE, N.C., Feb. 22 -- The U.S. Department of Homeland Security's U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement issued the following press release:
SAN FRANCISCO - Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) San Francisco arrested an individual who had an outstanding warrant for raping a child in Zacatecas, Mexico, on Feb. 22.
"ERO San Francisco will continue to do everything in our power to bring to justice anyone who harms children. They are our most vulnerable population, and we will never stop fighting to protect them from individuals looking to hurt them," said San Francisco Assistant Field Office Director Joanna Bayardo. "This arrest is a significant step in protecting our community from these terrible acts."
