Unnao (UP), April 28 -- Six passengers were killed and 20 others injured when a truck tore apart one side of a bus in Safipur area of Unnao district in Uttar Pradesh district on Sunday, police sources said here.
Police sources said that the incident took place near Jamalpur village in Hardoi-Unnao highway when the truck coming from the opposite direction collided with the truck and tore apart its one side.
"Six passengers were killed on the spot, and 20 others were injured in the incident," they said.
Police sources said that initially the injured were taken to the community health center, from where they were referred to Kanpur and Unnao for treatment.
