Hyderabad, May 8 -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi, met the family members of late PM PV Narasimha Rao at the Raj bhavan during his visit to Hyderabad on Tuesday evening.
The family members conveyed their appreciation and thankfulness to Modi for bestowing the prestigious Bharat Ratna award upon PV, recognising his significant contributions to the nation.
Taking on social media handle ' X', Modi said "Upon reaching Hyderabad, had an excellent meeting with the family of our former PM, the respected scholar and statesman, Shri PV Narasimha Rao Garu.They thanked the Government of India for conferring the Bharat Ratna on Shri Narasimha Rao Garu".
