Mumbai, May 8 -- Maharashtra NCP-SP chief spokesperson, Mahesh Tapase, on Wednesday predicted that BJP and its allies face imminent defeat in all 11 constituencies of Maharashtra that went to polls in third phase of Lok Sabha elections, with voters overwhelmingly favouring the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA).

In a resounding expression of dissent, the mood among electorate is against incumbent government, signalling a seismic shift in political sentiments, he hinted.

He highlighted disillusionment among voters, citing their rejection of what they perceive as hollow promises of BJP and branded it as a party of empty rhetoric.

He declared that tide is turning against the ruling BJP and its leadership under Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
