Aizawl, March 13 -- The Budget session of Mizoram Legislative Assembly concluded on Wednesday evening with the passing of the state's annual budget for the fiscal year 2024-2025.

The budget, totaling Rs 14,276.62 crore, was presented by Chief Minister Lalduhoma, who also holds the finance portfolio, in the assembly on February 27.

The session, which commenced on February 19 with the customary address of the state governor, Hari Babu Kambhampati, was adjourned sine die by the assembly speaker, Lalbiakzama, soon after the passage of the budget.
