Hyderabad, Feb. 8 -- Underlining the need for a skilled and empowered workforce, the Congress government in Telangana is committed to establishing ''skill universities'' across the state, Governor Dr Tamilisai Soundararajan said.
Addressing the Joint session of legislative Assembly and Council on the opening day of budget session here, she said these skill universities would serve as centres of excellence, equipping our youth with the necessary knowledge and expertise to meet the demands of a rapidly revolving job market.
Focusing on skill development, the government aims to bridge the gap between education and employment, ensuring that our youth are not just academically proficient but also industry-ready, Soundararajan said.
