Hyderabad, March 29 -- Christians across Hyderabad, Secunderabad, and other regions of Telangana solemnly observed Good Friday, marking the crucifixion of Jesus Christ, through special prayers and fasting.
Churches in the area conducted unique services, drawing large congregations of worshippers. Many churches also facilitated live telecasts of these services on various platforms to accommodate those unable to attend in person.
Additionally, some churches organised passion plays, vividly portraying the crucifixion of Jesus Christ.
Following Good Friday, Christians will celebrate Easter, commemorating the resurrection of Jesus Christ, which falls on March 31.
